Designing Complex B2B Workflows
🇨🇳 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
I grew up in Guangzhou, lived in New York for two years, and now call Toronto home. Moving around has a way of making me pay attention to how different places are designed for the people who live in them, and how often they're not.
My design journey started from a small Chinese village social innovation project in my early 20s. Watching how design give overlooked people a reason to matter again. That's what drew me in.
MY BACKGROUND
Product design taught me how intention shapes experience, and how a good one moves business forward. My graduate training to see the system underneath problems.

DESIGN APPROACH
There's no one-size-fits-all method in design.
I follow a holistic and user-centered approach. I turn a business owner's early vision into something specific enough to build with situation-based and fact-based research methods.

MANIFESTO
Good design knows what it's protecting.
Solving the right problem comes first. Everything else is built on top of that. Before anything is made to look well-crafted, it has to be clear what it's actually for. Craft and beauty don't replace that clarity. They earn it. They're how a solved problem becomes something people trust enough to rely on.
MY VALUES
Slove first, craft second — but never skip either
